Working principle

                            UV is a kind of invisible light, exists in the outer side of the violet ray end of spectrum, so called ultraviolet. The ultraviolet ray comes from one of the solar radiation electromagnetic waves.

                            UV sterilizer is based on ultraviolet light with wavelength of 253.7Ao, which can destroy microform’s DNA, the main material is 304 or 316L stainless steel, cased with high-purity quartz tube, matching with high-performance quartz UV low-pressure mercury Disinfection lamp, strong bactericidal, long life, stable and reliable support, etc., its bactericidal effect ≥ 99%.

Care and maintenance

①     The best working conditions of ultraviolet sterilizer: water temperature: 5 ℃ -50 ℃, relative temperature: not more than 93% (temperature 25 ℃), voltage: 220 ± 10V 50Hz, drinking water quality into the treatment equipment, its 1cm transmittance is 95% -100%.

If the water quality which need to deal with is lower than the national standard, such as the color scale is higher than 15 degrees, turbidity higher than 5 degrees, iron content higher than 0.3 mg / L, use other purification and filtration methods first to make the water quality up to standard, then use the UV sterilization equipment.

②     Regular inspection, ensure the normal operation of UV lights. UV light should be in the continuing open state, repeated switching will seriously affect the lamp life.

③     Regular cleaning: According to the water quality, UV lamp and quartz glass casing need the regular cleaning, wipe the lamp with alcohol cotton or gauze, remove the dirt and wipe, avoid to affect the UV transmittance, and affect the bactericidal effect.

④     Lamp replacement: After working for 9,000 consecutive hours, or a year later, you should replace the UV lamp to ensure high sterilization rate. Replace the lamp, the first step, unplug lamp power outlet, pull out the lamp, and then insert the new lamp into the sterilizer after carefully wiping, install a seal, check the presence of water leakage, and then plug in the power. Be careful not to touch the quartz glass of the new lamp with fingers, otherwise it will affect the bactericidal effect due to stains.

⑤     Prevent ultraviolet radiation: UV bacteria have a strong lethal on bacteria, and also have some damage on the human body, when start disinfection lamps, you should avoid direct exposure to the human body, if necessary, you can use protective glasses, not facing the light source directly with the eyes, avoid to burn eye membrane.
