防爆空调主要用于石油、化工、医药、科研、军事、危险仓库等混合性气体环境中，具有制冷制热和自动除霜功能。内部的压缩机、风机等都经过特殊的防爆处理。该防爆空调防爆类型为整机防爆。
原理介绍：在结构上采用隔爆型、本安型、浇封型等复合防爆技术，控制端全由本安型控制，不产生任何电火花，使用方便安全，采用高效多翅式换热器，冷煤通过时与空气的接触更充分，能大幅度的提高空调的制冷制热效果，手动控制和遥控两种。
防爆空调由进风口、出风口、排水管、连接管、室外机组、温控开关组成。
