保持血糖仪清洁　

血糖仪在使用过程中，常常会受到环境中的灰尘、纤维、杂物等污染，尤其是检测时不小心被血液污染，这些都会影响检测结果。因此，血糖仪每次使用后应放入保存袋中，并定期清洁，对测试区的清洁需要小心，擦拭时不要使用酒精或其它有机溶剂，以免损坏仪器，可使用稍稍浸湿的棉签或软布擦拭。此外，最好每天对机身外部进行消毒，可使用浸有消毒剂的棉签或软布。

正确存放血糖仪

不带电池的血糖仪一般可存放在-25～+70℃的环境中，带电池的血糖仪一般可存放在-10～+50℃的环境中，环境的相对湿度一般不应超过90%，不同血糖仪的保存条件略有不同，您可以仔细查阅说明书。还需要强调的是，以上提到的是血糖仪的保存环境，而检测血糖所要求的环境条件（温度、湿度）会更苛刻一些，说明书上也会有明确标注。此外，血糖仪应避免长时间存放在电磁场(如移动电话、微波炉等附件)中，同时避免碰撞、剧烈震荡。

正确保存试纸

在临床上，血糖仪本身出现故障的机率较小，而试纸则更容易受到温度、湿度、化学物质等的影响。试纸应使用原装瓶子储存，并存放在干燥、阴凉、避光的环境中，每次取出试纸后立即盖好瓶盖，取试纸时手指避免接触测试区。单片包装的试纸可以存放至包装盒上的有效期限，而瓶装试纸开封后应在一个月内用完。
