Each hotel lock system comprises of the following:

PC (usually located behind reception)

Software + Encoder (how the cards are issued)

Hotel Locks (pysical locks on the doors)

Temic Cards or Mifare 1 Card (the KeyCard to open the door)

Upon Installation, each lock is issued a unique ID, so that it knows to which room it belongs. The software is also configured to suit your hotel – displaying all the rooms and different floors.

As a guest checks in, the receptionist or user selects the room number on the software to which the guest will be staying, and then inputs the guest name as well as the time and date of when the guest is due to check out. Once processed, the Encoder will write this information onto a blank card….acting now as the guest KEY!

The card will automatically EXPIRE by itself, if the guest keeps it past their Check out time & date.
