直线振动筛一般是长条形的筛机，也可以分多层筛，筛机两侧各有一个振动电机，振动电机产生的振动传到筛机上，筛网发生运动，物料就可以在惯性作用下完成筛分，从出料口排出。

直线振动筛一般适用于颗粒物料的筛分，并且不能筛分过于精细的物料，因为直线筛的振动幅度不大，筛精细物料非常容易堵网，而且物料也不可以有潮湿的情况
